ShadowBrooke is a public par-72 Joel Goldstrand-designed course just a short drive west of the Twin Cities metro area right on Hwy 7. The course was built by Tom Schmidt and his dad, Elmer, in 1993. It is now under joint operation by Tom and his youngest son, Tyler. In 2024, ShadowBrooke lengthened the par-4 13th hole by nearly 100 yards to convert it to a par 5, giving the unique layout of 6 par 3’s, 6 par 4’s, and 6 par 5’s; the only golf course in the state with that routing.

ShadowBrooke is unique in its setting and charm. The original farm house was converted to the clubhouse and many of the original buildings still stand today.
